The purpose of these activities is not to provide therapy. Instead, the goal is to build a healing community where people can submit what they have done related to a bi-monthly theme. Everyone is responsible for their own content, with full credit given along with appropriate links to your own site, should you have one. Your work can stand alone, but everyone is encouraged to say some words about their process.

I will post a "theme," or assignment if you will, on the first of January, April, July, and October in this area as well as in a regular blog entry. We welcome suggestions for activities! Submissions will be open for approximately 3 weeks. Shortly after submissions are closed, I will publish an "Expressive Arts Carnival" containing everyone's contribution. Regular comments on the Carnival are welcomed.

It is important to say that there is no requirement to have a website or blog to participate. In fact, the Carnival was created to provide an opportunity for anyone who wants to submit.

All submissions should be made by email to: paul@mindparts.org. Please use the subject heading "EXPRESSIVE ARTS" to facilitate my keeping track of entries.

I also maintain a private mailing list for the Carnival. If you would like to be on it, please send me an email. It is mostly used for Carnival announcements and to ask for group feedback, however some discussions ensue. All emails are kept confidential in the list discussions, therefore members are asked to sign their name to posts made to the list. If you contribute to the Carnival, you are automatically added to the mailing list.

Thank you for visiting!
